Oto papier: pożółkłe szczątki, podarte fragmenty, szare i matowe, pogięte, spracowane resztki kartek, służących kiedyś za obwoluty książek, wyklejki, notesy i bloki, teraz kruche od słońca i czasu, wyblakłe i bezużyteczne.
W swojej masie, w warstwach włókien zdradzą czasem ślad litery, drukowanej lub odręcznie kaligrafowanej, czasem nutę, może odprysk pieczątki bibliotecznej. Gdy je ułożyć w abstrakcyjny stos, ujawnią co innego – piękno faktury, gradient barwnika, czystość formy.
Umieszczam je w centrum uwagi. Wyzute ze swojej pierwotnej użyteczności, stają się znów tym, czym są - papierem. Nie interesuje mnie anegdota figuratywności – porzucam ją na rzecz geometrii. Uwypukla ona urok ścinków, które w fotograficznym powiększeniu stają się przyjemnością nie tylko wizualną, ale i haptyczną.

EN: Paper: yellowed cuttings, torn fragments, gray and dull, bent, worn-out remains of pages. Once served as book covers, end papers, notebooks and pads, now brittled by the sun and time, have faded and became useless.
In their mass, in the layers of fibers, they sometimes disclose a trace of a letter, printed or handwritten, calligraphy, now and again a note or maybe a detail from a library stamp. When stacked abstractly, they speak in a different manner revealing the beauty of the texture, the gradient of the dye, and the purity of the form.
I put them in the spotlight. Devoid of their original utility, so they become what they truly are. Plain paper. I am not interested in the anecdote of figurativeness. I shall abandon it in favor of geometry, which highlights the charm of the clippings. In photographic magnification they become not only a visual pleasure, but also a haptic one.
Oversized photographs of miniature compositions create a three-dimensional illusion. Step between torn bits of paper and feel their roughness under one’s fingers – the analogue projection continues.

Emiter's new material with its lyricism triggers processes related to memory and coupling perceived by the listener. It sends back to small but tightly clogged drawers in our heads, or perhaps as the title suggests to a city that no longer exists. The slow-flowing noise is conducive to meditative rooting deeply within your own body, but the fuzzy percussion is pounding on from some industrial, rainy space. Subsequently we get cello melancholy mixed with nostalgia, i.e. emotions that we have not heard in such a form for a long time on independent releases and which we did not know that were missed. On this latest Emiter’s album Marcin Dymiter is accompanied by Edyta Czerniewicz on cello and Bartłomiej Adamczak on percussion.
